Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am Vegan. Can I use your products?

KASIA products are considered Vegetarian not Vegan. Our base ingredients include coconut oil, Shea nut oil and beeswax. Our beeswax is harvested cruelty-free from beehives located in Austin, TX. You can find all of our ingredients listed in the ingredients section on the packaging and on our website. If you have a specific product question, please contact us and we would be happy to assist you.

  • How long will my KASIA products last and how do I determine the expiration date of a particular product?

KASIA produces both cosmetic products and “over-the-counter” or OTC products. Products such as our KASIA flavors with SPF and L-Lysine are classified by the US FDA as OTC because they contain specific active ingredients known to help (not cure/prevent) certain conditions like sunburn and fever blisters/cold sores.

We recommend that KASIA products be used within 12 months after opening. Store your KASIA products out of extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

  • Where is KASIA headquartered?

Our business headquarters is located in Tulsa, OK, USA.

  • Are your flavors natural?

KASIA products are all-natural, composed of proprietary blends of essential oils and natural extracts, some out-sourced and some made by us!

  • What is L-Lysine?

L-Lysine is an essential amino acid and a natural anti-viral remedy. In order to replicate in the body, herpes simplex needs a steady source of Arginine, another amino acid. L-Lysine interferes with Arginine getting absorbed in the body, slowing the replication process of HSV-1.

To help cold sores, apply KASIA Blueberry or KASIA Cherry to the affected area every 2 hours.

  • I have an allergy to coconut oil and/or beeswax. Can I request a custom order?

Yes. KASIA products can be customized to fit the needs of our consumers. If you have an allergy to coconut oil, we can use a substitute such as olive oil. If you have an allergy to beeswax, we can use a substitute such as candelilla wax which is derived from the leaves of the Mexican shrub Euphorbia Antisyphilitica.
